.... printed MapQuest directions
.... an AM/FM/Cassette & Cassette Aux-Input adapter with a bad connector
.... any head unit without bluetooth
.... my cell phone from 2001
.... Montezuma's Revenge

Reasons I ripped out the OEM radio and went aftermarket:
TPMS readouts & Gauges
Short the parking brake to ground wire so I can provide input to the nav while driving
Play DVD-Audio
Sounds better
Android Auto with Waze ("Warning, Police reported ahead")
OEM Voice command was worthless unless stopped with windows closed, "Ok Google" works even at highway speeds

The only thing I miss about the factory radio: a big a** volume knob I could reach without my hand leaving the steering wheel.

Just in here to say that Entune is actually pretty good.

I've used most of the other OEM systems and I can say that most are slow and laggy compared to Entune. Or they don't work at all (Looking at you UConnect, or should I say UDon'tConnect?).

As someone else posted though, stop asking your in-dash system to be as good as your cell phone. Just stream through bluetooth or Aux, use the weather, and the Map for quick look navigation. Log out of the Entune suite and delete the app from your phone. Bluetooth streaming from your cell phone is more efficient and sounds better. Also, with Siri, Bixby, Google Assistant, Cortana, and whoever else is assisting you, Hands free phone use and music selecting has never been easier.

Lucky for us Toyota put something in that won't break and thus can be used without issue for a long time.
