Among the many things I've learned that I'll pass on to people who are considering buying 4Runners:
1) Your build (you will learn this term) will never be "finished". You're always going to want something more.
2) No matter how much research and thought you put into a mod, and no matter how happy you are with it, within 72 hours you'll see one that's slightly better that you'll wish you'd picked instead.
3) No matter how much money you sink into it or how badass it is, there's always a cooler 4Runner somewhere, and you're going to see it, and it's going to ruin your day.
4) Before you make even the smallest modification to your 4Runner, ask yourself if you are okay (emotionally and financially) with being obsessed. Once you start, you won't stop.
5) UPS, FedEx, and your mail carrier will hate you within 4 months of purchasing your 4Runner.
Prepare thyself before purchase... ;-)
