If you can figure out how to change the settings on the drivers door to open all doors at the same when u unlock the door let me know......I did it on my 2012, but for the life of me I cannot remember how to do it on my 2016
I have Carista and still can't figure out how to do this on my 2020. Loading and unloading kids, this would be a HUGE convenience. Also, considering my old truck had it, its just annoying that the 4Runner can't do this!
Try holding down the lock and unlock buttons on the remote for 8 seconds. You should hear two beeps. This should change the mode to open all doors at once.
Hit up Youtube for "toyota unlock all doors".
This works on limited only, FYI.
If I could hug you right now, I would!
This just worked on my 20 Pro!
This was literally the one thing I really disliked about the truck!
You have to pull the drivers handle rather than pressing the handle, but thats good enough for me!
My 2018 SR5 does the same. Even clicks/knocks when I brake or accelerate abruptly. I took the entire assembly apart day 2 and found that it really cannot be fixed. The base mounts to the floor solidly, but the runners are a sort of scissor/spring system that is simply riveted together with no way to tighten/adjust. the seat back also attaches in some strange way that is unadjustable. However I did find that some system of slight adjustments on the auto seat switches, did seem to tighten it up a little. Still happens, have yet to find a cure.
