Think I found my cold engine noise.. Where to buy alternator

It is either the fan or the alternator on my Wife's 04 4-runner.

She does not have serpentine belts, so there are no idler puliies. I shot the alternator pully with WD40, and it was quiet.
The noise is worse in the cold.. I am going to start it early tommorow and see if it is gone.

I have had bad luck with afternarket parts - alternators.

Toyota replacement seems expensive.
Any suggestions on a decent brand/store to buy it from.

Why do you think there is no serpentine belt? I know the V6 has one, and according to the manual, so does the V8. You may have a belt noise problem. Quite often it appears when cold, then goes away once the belt warms up a bit. When you spray the alternator pulley with WD-40, it also gets on the belt, and this could quiet the belt noise. Try picking a different a different part of the belt and spray some on the back (flat surface) of the belt while it is running. If the noise stops right away, it is the belt.

I opened the hood..
Its it not serpentine belts..

It has separate belts for AC PWS and the fan.
