thinking about a new grille...

after i put on my clear corners and tag i decided i should take the front end to the next level and get a billet grille. do you guys know anything about this ebay seller? it is the exact look i want, but i just dont want to trim out the back of my grille.

what do you guys think?

Sorry to jack thread, but i have a 98 grille for sale if you want to go down the Satoshi grille route.

The pic looks like a very bad Photoshop attempt. The seller also has a few recent negative feedbacks. If you are mad keen search for someone who has actually bought this item.

I like the billet grille you posted more than the billet grilles that replace the whole grille. IMO though a sathoshi grille looks better than any billet grille. CLICK HERE and in the left frame click Custom Grille for a good write up and what a Satoshi grille looks like.

That looks pretty good if you ask me, especially on a lighter colored car. I also like how the Toyota symbol is still on the grill
 
i liked a version someone posted with the newer looking toyota logo and it looked alot better to me.

my question is though since that is a photoshop job on the store picture. will my actual grill come out looking like that? it says there is no mods needed...
 
it does look pretty sketchy but thats the exact looking grill i wanted for my car. like others have said search the brand and maybe there is someone else out there selling the same grill

edit:well didnt see anyone on ebay with nearly the same grill, but from reading their stuff, and checking out their website it seems like they are "custom made" to fit.

i would probably email and ask for them to take a picture of them on a 4 runner, and not a photoshoped picture. possibly send you a grill for free to model for them? just a thought:biggrin2:

yea i didn't think about that. even if it is a photo job if thats what it will look like thats what i want. i like the billet on factory. gives it a nice newer car look
 
As I said the seller has a lot of negative feedback. Check through his feedback to see if someone has actually bought the grille you are after and contact them direct for their thoughts on the product and seller.

I agree. Photoshop AND negative feedback? No thanks.

The grille is nice. If you're serious, find out who manufactures it and deal with them direct.

I'll be doing a spin-off of the Satoshi. I'll post pics when I'm done.

I agree about the photoshop and negative feedback. I wouldn't touch that auction with a 10 foot pole.

A spin off of the Satoshi? I can't want to see pics. I'm sure it will look better than the normal one. :bigok:
 
not to HiJack but Veilside what are those things under you headlight??? ive always wondered what they where even when you post on YT im like what the hell is that/????
