Always loved my 2nd gen but hated the 3.0. Swaps already done. But does it sound risky?

Yup. First off, a three inch body lift and a six inch suspension lift? Function is not real high on this guy's priority list. Second, why is he trying to sell a non-running truck if he's so sure it's an FPR and he's even ordered it? Fix your junk first, then sell it... unless you don't think you can fix it.

I question his judgement and maybe his honesty and wouldn't trust him to have done that swap correctly. At that price I'd keep looking. Get him down to 1200 or 1300 and maybe it'd be worth the risk.

I talked to him today and he said the fpr came in and if he gets it on and it runs he's going to keep it so I needed to let him know if I wanted it. So apparently he has no clue what's wrong with it. Looks like it's been rode hard and put away wet. I'd offer him a grand if the swap looked clean but I'm sure he'd think that was a "low ball" offer.
