Thinking of building a 3/4 rack for 3rd gen's

I know not everyone wants or needs a full length rack. I'm thinking about building a 3/4 rack for our other 4R and just wanted some thoughts on one over the other. Basically going to try to use the same jig for contour and of course end it behind the sunroof while keeping it low and tight.

I personally think your roof rack is the best looking out there, I'm just not the type to put stuff on my roof if I can help it. I'd be interested to see how a smaller rack would follow the clean lines that your full-sized rack does.

Lol, was that a top gear episode? And the 3/4 would be from the rear up to the back of the sunroof.

i doubt i'll do one with aluminum, material costs more and it would have to be TIG welded which would add tons of time and setup to everything.

Wow I just ran across this and I have to say that is a great looking rack for a good price. I saw on your site that you are thinking about expanding into other areas, I look forward to seeing what you come up with. If you ever need a 4runner to test fit on I'm not too far away

All of my prices are reasonable, this will be no different. My wife wants one on her truck (for what???) so i'll build the first for her and post up when its done.
