Thinking of buying this 2008 4Runner.

Hello I have a chance to buy a 2008 V6 2WD 4runner with only 45,000 miles they say it has not towed anything,and had not been driven off road. Their asking $16,500. What do you think? Anything I need to be looking for on it?

The first question you have to ask yourself is what are your needs from such a vehicle, and how do you plan on using it.
For example, if you are buying the 2wd to make a fast handling off road 2wd desert pre-runner style rig with a long travel front suspension system, then I would say go ahead.
If you are just looking for a vehicle to drive around town with no special needs, but maybe need the room and just like the look of the 4runner, then again, go ahead.
So, first think hard what your long term and short term plans are.
I purposely purchased the 4x4 because I wanted to explore deep in the mountains where the 4x4 system is needed. Then, I added performance parts particular to my needs.

I have no need for a 4X4 had a 4X4 Bronco and never needed the 4 wheel drive.
I need the room and like 4runners as they are well built,so I will just be using it around city.
