Thinking of Selling For another Opinions Please

I am thinking of selling my 1998 Toyota 4Runner SR5 v6 4WD with leather. For a 1998 4Runner limited with dual power seats and the rear diff lock. now mine has 188k and the other has 288k. I know the guy that's willing to let me buy it and hes a fellow Toyota mechanic i work with. he has taken very good care of it and has done everything you possibly can think of for maintenance. What do you guys think? Give me your honest opinions.

this is the color of the one im thinking about doing it for. Just without the roof rack.

Thats alot of miles, even if the owner is a Toyota mechanic. I honestly dont have any problems with manualy adjusting my seat. My previous car had power seats, and its just not that big of a deal to me. And you could just do a diff mod to yours, or find a used axel somewhere and still have your truck with 100k less miles on it

true to that. to do the axle swap and or diff mod i would have to get the sway bar from that truck also because the regular sway bar is different than the ones that come with the diff lock. but that's why i turned to you guys for opinions. and if i do do lockers i will probably go ARB air lockers.

Or you could just not run a rear sway bar.

i would deff keep it. I have a 99 sr5 4wd, manual seats. power everything else. couldnt ask for a better truck. over 250,000mi is pushin it. i think these trucks will start ending about 300,350,000. (maintained) so keeping your truck and modding the rear end will last your longer.

I agree... In the end, I think it would still be cheaper to do all of the above and keep yours than trade it...

hats funny you say you think the trucks will start ending with 300-350k on them i had today at work that had over 550k on it and still running strong. he has had the truck since he bought it new back in 2000. he said he wont get rid of it until it literally stops.
