Hey all..first post here..I currently have an 02 Audi A4 Avant, spt pkg, cold weather, xeons and a 04 Nissan Armada LE. Thinking about trading in the audi for a 4runner.....just the overall build, styling, fact that you cannont kill these engines is very appealling...we carry alot of gear, skis, surfboards, tow boats, kids stuff....the audi just doesnt have enough room......any thoughts...thinking of picking a 4runner just coming off a lease..i live on long island ny

You know we all love our 4Runners, but it appears as though the Armada should cover the Audi's shortcomings.
As a member of a two vehicle family, I think it's a good idea to have both a capable SUV and a better handling, possibly more fun to drive, coupe or sedan that gets decent gas mileage.
Don't get me wrong, though. If my wife (who is a stay-at-home mom and the primary driver of the 4Runner) went out and bought me a new 4Runner to replace my Subaru Legacy sedan, I wouldn't complain too much.

point is well taken, that is why i got the audi, to have a very capable SUV and a smaller, fun, stick shift car,,,,however, many times the wife is tooling around with the 2 kids, strollers etc in the Armada, and I need to go surf with 3 boards and gear...our lifestyle commands tooling gear around.....we also do a lot of driving, so it'd be nice to load up the runner and give the 'mada a rest....we just cant do trips in the Audi....
