Third member, what do I have here

Ive had this third member for some time laying around with spare parts. I pulled it today to see if I have something that might work in my 98 4R. It has some type of lockrite/spartan in it for sure. Has 43/10 so 4.30 ratio, 30 spline axles, and looks to be a 8". Any gurus on here can tell me if this is a direct bolt in to the housing or can I just swap this carrier into my third?

Edit: I've attached a picture of my vin. Using the PDF chart I found, it suggests that mine came with 4.30 gears since it came with 265/70/16. Correct?

So is that the VIN tag off your car or the carrier donor car? looks like a 8" carrier, will not just bolt in if you have an E-Locker because the housings are different. check that the ratio is the same as yours and bolt that sucker in.

Tag is off mine. 1998 limited V6 4x4 non e locker. The A03A codes out for a 2 pinion 4.10 but I thought all V6 had 4 pinion. Also my tag calls for 265/70/16 and with the model code those two paired factory says 4.30. The done vehicle was a mutt I got free. No idea what or where the rear axle came from.

I went to the wreckers to pick up what I was assured was a 4.1 but they were all 4.3, the codes are wrong. Only way to know is to spin the shaft and count.

Ill try that after work. I assume its pretty easy to tell between 4.1 and 4.3 on the rotation of the drive shaft? Or did you have a pulled third to go by?

Fingers crossed ill get lucky and have the same ratio so I can't throw it in.
