not easily...it'd be cheaper to just buy one with one...
Someone on this forum added a 3rd row to their trail edition. Do a search.
These guys do 4 runners, but their website only says through 2009

I bought an SR5 with the third row. I REALLY wanted a trail, but the engineers at Toyota assume that anyone who has more than 3 kids would NEVER want a trail edition. :crybaby:

I would like to do this too. I wish I had ordered a Third-row model on my '11 Limited. Is there anyway to do this? Can toyota parts be used to make this conversion?
There is nothing on the aftermarket that I am aware of.... I am aware that there is an aftermarket provider (littleseats.com) that makes and sells 3rd row seating for SUV's, but as of today, they do not make anything for the 5th gen 4runner.
Any advice? I am outgrowing my 4runner, and need more seats for the kids.

You mean two kids - packing a 3rd kiddie seat in there is tight, and getting a struggling little person in and out of there is a "challege".
That company's stuff looks VERY cool - rear-facing (no miserable 3rd row climb like on the stock units), removable, and meets federal standards (whatever they're worth).
