I recently joined the forum a couple of days ago because I had a problem with my 4-Runner. You can see the post here: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?threadid=36269

Well, I just wanted to thank the forum because in about an hour someone had come up with a suggestion as to what my issue might be, and lo-and-behold after looking into the suggestion a bit more it was exactly what was ailing my truck. I fixed the problem yesterday and my truck is running like it's brand new. This is a great forum and I just wanted to say thanks.

I agree, this is a great site. I like it because it is 4Runner specific and is a valuable resource for all kinds of applications (offroading, maintenance, bling stuff etc).
No one contributor here is the be-all-to-end-all authority on everything, everyone just helps out with what they know and what they are good at. :cheers:

You would be amazed how many "Grown men" are more into flaming someone than helping them on other boards I am on. Some of them are older than I am and I'm 30.
