I am really excited to see some of the items I want listed in the forum...C4 Fab slimline bumper and winch, to be more specific. Anyone have a con about it.

The runner is hers till she buys a car, but till then she is excited to make it a good looking toy, she is a real estate agent, and black it had to be. I need to tent the windows. That is first. Then sliders, then good set of wheels and tires. Then maybe the grill. Then possibly a roof rack. I would like to learn to weld and do it myself.

first pic is how I found this thing at the dealer when I wasn't all that impressed with the boring '18 limited I actually made an appointment to test drive. second pic I took the other day when I saw a twin of the black pearl.

I just got a '16 SR5 that had some goodies already installed. it came with 17" TRD wheels, 285/70 BFG T/A KO2s, Revtek 3"/2" lift kit, and an aluminum ARB roof rack with some LED lights mounted. car even had the emblems blacked out, front windows tinted, side window vent things, and a hood deflector. I added westin hdx running boards and an alpine stereo with GPS right from dealer. Ive transferred my 6.5' ARB awning from my lesbaru. I plan on adding my sPOD and a few more lights and my switches. today I just added a WARN semi hidden winch mount and a Smittybilt xrc gen 2 9500lb winch. it will also be getting a hilift jack carrier that mounts on winch. no need for a ridiculously heavy and overpriced rear bumper. I'm not gonna make my 4runner 6500 lbs like in this video I watched. I do a lot of overlanding which is why I got this thing and making the mods I'm doing.

however up next is a digital guard dog pushbutton start install along with a homelink rearview mirror and better speakers. the pushbutton start is gonna be a major ordeal and I'm not even the one putting it in. I wont touch anything electronic.

I'm also gonna make a wish list cause why not. I'm gonna put this stuff on eventually. I plan on getting
ARB dual compressor
ARB diff breather
ARB locking front and rear differentials
OPTIMA battery
hood louvers



also since I'm new to 4runners, ill probably have even more questions. does the stock SR5 come with 3 skidplates. it looks like there is a section missing under the transmission.


does anyone else have an ARB roof rack? I wanna mount a fairing and a lightbar on the bottom. its so F'ing loud!

I believe c4 must have been the first name to bring that piece to market cause I think I saw c4 replica or something like. I don't think the 4runner needs an entire bumper. lots of extra weight and A LOT more expensive. I went with warn because its a name that is known and trusted. I was about to get one of their winches too, but so insanely expensive. this site is what made me decide to go with a smittybilt xrc gen 2 winch. about as good and half the price.

so excited im finally getting my truck back tomorrow. its been 2 f'ing weeks for this stupid install. they have it working, then its not right. I had to rent a minivan. a minivan. I probably should've just got a limited but I can't afford that. plus they'll fix the American flag decal they got crooked.

what type of filter element is in the TRD cold air intake? is it oiled like K&N stuff. i'll never use oiled filters again! but the dryflow used by AFE is awesome. id like to keep it Toyota under the hood.

I went nuts and ordered a bunch of shit on black Friday. still haven't mounted everything. so far ive put in an odyssey battery, TRD intake, grill with built in light bar, laminx fog light covers, and interior tuffskins. still need to change to prinsu rack mount lights, sPOD and switches, D
diaz devil emblem, and CB. oh yeah and I need to get better window vents. the weathertech ones that were on are so awful. the rear ones fell out and the sticky tape I used didn't work. I hope the windows don't need any repairs. I moved the glass around with my hands to get it back in place. seemed really sketchy. **** weathertech! anyway heres a pic from today

its been a hard 6 months. I was tired of getting stuck so I buy the ultimate 4x4 but its just a pavement princess. I finally broke it in on Saturday. 4runners of Washington had a meet at Tahuya ORV park in Belfair. ATRAC is amazing! I couldn't make it up a hill, spinning front driver side tire and rear passenger side tire. turned on ATRAC and it pulled me right through it. heres some pics plus I cleaned it up and took pics of the slight imperfections from my first trip. I need to figure something out for a high clearance things, SSO says their pieces only work with that brand. I have a WARN winch mount. one of my steps is bent but I should be able to heat it up and get back in shape. a couple little scratches plus my magnaflow took a little hit, need to cut and weld so it doesn't stick out so much.

when I have time I need to mount a lightbar on my roof, lights on the back of rack, ditch lights, an interior radio mount, my GMRS radio, CB, antennas, traction board mounts, hi lift mount, sPOD, switches, and my kickass devil horn emblem ive been waiting on 4 ****ing months!

6 months to get this thing but it was worth it. even my daughters 10 year old friend likes it.
