......did a quick search and didn't really find much.
On the V6, I've always heard a pretty audible (not loud, but you def hear it if standing outside the tuck) ticking noise from the driver's side of the engine. Always figured (or maybe heard) that it's completely normal; and for some reason I recall someone saying it's just the injectors or a very thin manifold that allows you to hear the valves closing. But again, I can't really recall where I heard that. I've got an 03 with 155k. Been ticking since I bought it at 30k.
But lately I've started to rethink it.....and can't figure where I heard it was "normal"...or if I really ever did. So, ticking from passenger side of engine....normal or no?
