So what about this added irony:
classics: around 3000
3rd gen: around 6000 (classic x2)
4th gen: around 12000 (3rd gen x2)
*insert music from the twilight zone...
Doesn't that seem backwards considering the length of time the vehicles have been available to discuss?
Or perhaps this is a sign of Toyotas growth in production and distribution in English speaking countries, primarily America over the years of product development?

Ahh, but you forget that the magical interweb virtually didn't exist in mainstream society back in the 'classic' days, and this site only appeared in 2003 or something. Thats plenty of time for the older trucks to rust away, break down, wreck or whatever. And then you can analyze the demographics of the users of this site in comparison to other Toyota 4wd forums and see that 4th gen owners prefer it here for some reason but 3rd gen guys have a bigger following on yotatech for example.CSL said:
