This look like a good deal? BFG A/T KOs

After some researching I think I decided I want BFGoodrich All terrains, 265/75/16. Well, I found a pair, looks good to me, but I'm always skeptical with anything when it comes to craigslist. What do you guys think? Should I go for it? Anythign to look out for?

They look like they have some good tread left by looking at the pic and for $400, you can't go too wrong.

in the picture they look good. I'd check for punctures... Sidewall damage if any. If non of those show up, jump on them.

looks good so far... since they come with a set of wheels I would use this as an opportunity to upgrade your wheels as well.

If it was me, I would paint the newly acquired wheels black or gun-metal and then have the tires mounted on them. It is really easy to paint wheels that are totally stand alone. It is a pain in the @ss to paint wheels that are both on tires and needed to keep your truck alex off the ground - believe me I just did it.

You should be able to look up the tread depth and measure it once you go to buy them. If it is 75% then $400 sounds like a good deal.

Link doesn't work now (post deleted by author), but check for weather cracking on the sidewall. I just looked at a set of 31x10.50x15 BFG's with +/- 40% tread on Craigslist San Diego for $150, and I show up and they're dry rotted/ weather cracked so bad on the sidewalls that one of the tires wasn't holding air (they were mounted on a set of Bronco rims). They were a ticking time bomb waiting to blow out. Just a heads up!
