Toyota 4 runner, If you asked me a month ago if id be driving one I would have laughed at you..
gas prices alone were probably the reason, not that I had anything bad to say about them. however.. I have been a die hard GM fan since I was young.
I recently sold my 1996 chevy Impala ss with 101k in as clean as they come condition for 11,000$ and needed a car as that was my only car since I was 19. I spent blood sweat and tears keeping that thing clean running perfect and now to replace that I needed something to fill a void.
I test drove a handful of cars in my price range.. under 15000$ and nothing did it for me.. I felt like I was holding a pretty high standard for being satisfied driving a car. i thought ehh.. maybe ill look at trucks.. I wanted something that, holds value, is reliable, has power and gives you more then just the ability to drive around highways for 18mpg premium... which is what i dealt with for 6 years. I drove a v8 05 4 runner.. and WAS SOLD.. I did my research and this is what I ended up with.
I hope you guys and this forum can do what the guys over at Impalassforum.com did and help me out with advice and experience to reassure me I made the right decision.

2005 Toyota 4 Runner SR5 Sport V8 Silver,89k, Zero Rust anywhere underneath, looks garage kept.. dealer maintained.. came with 1 year free maintenance, New all terrain tires, had the windshield replaced. $14,500 plus tax. The one and only Pic I have for now.. the second I got it home..
