been a while since i have been on, did some playing this last week and finished my box but not the pull out drawer. have a 15" and 12" sub built in it. let my dad drive my truck and in the 5 ft he moved it managed to push a large stick right though the lower grille, and someone door rapped my trd sticker and fuel door. officially need a 5" drop hitch because i had to use my hi-lift jack to hook the boat up to truck. got to test my suspension and works great, did manage to get the front off the ground but just because not because of the vid, sure was fun.

and i found an infamous purple runner in my lot

OH!! and i broke 100,000 mi finally

Looks good man. Im trying to black mine out as well. I want to paint my bumpers, and the step pad thing on top of the rear bumper. I know you said you painted the front bumper/valance with plasti dip. Some other people have recommended that and I think its the way to go. No sanding needed right? And what type of paint did you use for the rear bumper/step pad thing?

it was all plasti but its mainly for looks, found out today its hard to wash and it does peel off kinda easy if it gets rubbed or scratched, just needs touch ups if anything happens to it. i did very little prep, just cleaned it and thats it. takes like 2-3 cans, think barely got away with 2.

Oh nice, I think I am going to do that as well. Someone recommended spraying some clear coat on top of the plasti dip to make it easier to clean. thinking about going that route. Anyway, your truck looks great!

Peeling? How many coats did you do? You have to do at least 4-5 coats on everything, and it shouldn't peel unless you're really grinding up against stuff. To keep it clean and easy to wash, you need to do a clear coat. I chose Krylon flat.

Scratches and smudges like hell without the clear, I've found. You oughta try it out.

i put 3-4 coats on with no clear. im just sating its not as resilient as the stock plastic, obviously. it was a band-aid, going for plate pumper over the summer. took some wood out and it was slidding out on the little back step and peeled it right off.

oh and btw not sure if any of you guys wheel with your dogs but i did the lil climb the first time and she wasn't ready, she literally almost crapped her self, worst fart ever, and later took a nasty dump. she gets to watch from the dirt next time.

i havnt been on much but have been checking in. i did my deck plate mod today. went well, kinda easy, and it made my flowmaster sound a little better. went to dollar tree and got a kitchen strainer for $1 that was metal so big save there, painted it blue to protect it some and i didnt have black.

well small update. put the fender flare back on. kinda decided i didnt care about the tire rub thing so i beat the crap out of the wells and cut away the plastic that the tire was clicking on when i turned. painted my red block lift black so its not so stand out because i hated it. redid all my wiring to control all the top lights so i can turn each side independently with 4 lighted toggle switches that i will soon mount in the filler cuby below my radio, and redid the fuses and got a cute little 10 slot fuse box from amazon for $12 and is great, and redid the battery ends so they connect better. pulled off the ThorMX sticker on the windshield because it was falling off, used fine sand paper and about 1/3 of a bottle of windex to get the sticky off and worked really good with very few scratches. about to order my 2" BL and rola extension.

Looks awesome man, although the rear chrome and the back chrome bumper look different after you plasti dipd them or maybe thats just me.
So What kind of roof rack is that and did it take any customization to get it to fit on there or did it just attach right in?

Edit: Rola got ya but did it fit fine or did you have to customly pout it on?
