Wife and I are looking to get a trailer upwards of 4000 lb. Any pictures of folks pulling a weekend trailer rig?

here's my 2k ltd towing my 16ft trailer....upgraded to 231 tundra brakes,3" inch lift,external tranny cooler...should be a lot better now

Now, my T100 on the other hand, it has towed some weight.
BTW, for those of you who don't know, the T100 has the same drivetrain as the 4Runner.

The LS400 alone weighs over 4,000lbs. The trailer I'm towing with is an old steel + wooden planked car hauler that'll easily hit 1,400lbs. Not to mention, I had the back seats folded flat in this pic with a 6.2L GM big block, a bunch of numerous driveline parts and some other random crap in the back of my 4Runner. Easy cruisin with no probs and my truck has over 265,000 miles!!

I was thinking of buying a small trailer to haul a crotchrocket around when maintanince is needed.Do you think my 4runner 2.7l 5spd can do it?

I've tow my 2000-2500 pop-up trailer with my 4Runner. It can pull it up through the Rocky mountains here in Colorado with ease, although perhaps not as fast as a V8 would. It's also pulled it from Denver to Yellow Stone as well, and after adding the awesome 231mm Tundra brakes I have no worries of stopping quickly even on downhills!
