I was curious about what y’all do with the parts of the reservoir tank that stick out? I’m thinking it’s alright to cut the tabs and then just paint everything matte black, unless someone knows of a way to move it? Also, in the picture, there’s a denso plug of sorts & I have no idea what it actually is. Thanks for any inputs.

I can't advise since I have stock bumpers, but I have read that many swap it out with one from other model vehicles which are shorter, can't remember which ones.
I believe the denso piece you're referring too that is below the tank(?) and has hoses attached, I think it's the washer pump just from looking at it.

I painted mine black. I've seen suggestions to use 2014 Tacoma windshield washer reservoir as it moves it up into the engine compartment

So that is the plug for one of the washer pumps. There are two. I initially just cut off the tabs and painted mine black. However, in colder climates the washer fluid would freeze. Yes, I know they make fluid that can go to colder climates but good luck finding it in CA. So, during their Xmas or Black Friday sale I picked up a Rocksteady Washer Kit on sale. It isn't cheap hence why I jumped on the sale, but it is nice! And my fluid didn't freeze when I was up in OR in the snow so I was super happy. It's a great piece with detailed instructions and would highly recommend. I just sprayed it with truck bed liner but you can get it powder coated if you like.

Where is your second battery? In front of the airbox or behind? Rocksteady's goes in front and most second battery installs are behind the airbox. Or just get a 31M battery and skip the dual.

It's behind in the corner by the firewall, switch pro module is mounted where this would be. I like the dual batteries because I have the fridge and I never have to worry about the rig starting or not, although I may have to look at running two side by side in the stock location so I can free up that spot.

Move Switch Pros to driver side and put on Powertray? I'm guessing you have onboard air too? So much stuff to fit in such a small engine compartment! Guess it could be worse, could be a Jeep Wrangler. Now those are cramped!

I could probably move the switch pro to the driver side and situate it around with the isolator for the batteries. OBA is mounted in the cargo area. There's definitely limited space in the engine bay and cargo.

I just hit my OEM fender liner with a heat gun and tucked it up behind the bumper. Used some heavy duty zip ties and it covers everything. I can post pics if you want.

My problem is likely to be more of a bigger tire issue than it actually being exposed. I won't know until I get them on and get a good alignment though.
