Those of you with a baja rack, was it worth the cost?

If it was not worth it, why? Also, what is a good (preferablly more affordable) alternative to the baja rack?

One has to ask, if you're asking "is it worth it"....can you really afford it?

Its not like a muffler, tyres, or a huge spoiler so don't expect it to get you anything you can grab Mr. Trump.

More depends on what you need to do. Some people get it because it "looks cool" but, unless you overland or need a huge rack on a weekly basis I would say you can spend a grand on some more suitable items

I've got a feeler for a group buy Here. If you don't mind waiting, I recommend keeping your eye on that as price will definitely beat Baja.

If its in the budget and you like it, get it. I don't think I'd get the use out of it for the money, or any rack that's $600+. I made a simple rack for mine to put lights on, and run a tire or jerry cans if I want.

Same here, I built a look-a-like rack out of 3/4" conduit and it holds up great. Once my budget is back after the holidays Im getting a new light bar for it.
