Those with Limited's, answer me this

I was going through the 4R interior options on the Toyota website and it states that "Illuminated instrument cluster gauge needles" are standard on the Limited. What exactly does that look like as compared to the regular needles on the SR5 and Sport?

Drive both the Limited and another model. You will see the difference. I don't know if it's a single good enough reason to get a Limited over a Sport or SR5, but the gage needles are very visible. The light shines through the red plastic needle and makes a red spot on the dial wherever the needle points.

Limited has "Optitron" instrument panel. It lights up as soon as you start your engine. Looks fantastic. I really like it, especially when driving and entering tunnels, passing under the bridges or just in cloudy weather, all your gauges and needles are perfectly visible.

so does all the other model but without the red needle.

Limited has "Optitron" instrument panel.

All three trim levels have gauges that are always illuminated (I believe this started with the 2004 models). I don't think these are actual "Optitron" gauges like those found on a Lexus or the '05 Corolla LE, '05 Camry, and '05 Sequoia Limited (among others).

The 4Runner definitely does not have opitron guages. Optiron guages are much more vibrant and you can't see them when the engine is off. The 4Runner's guages only have the backlight stay on all of the time. Instead of the dashboard being lit up only when the headlights are on, it stays on all of the time for better visibility. It is kind of hard to explain the difference between the 4Runner's guages and opitron guages. You really have to see it to understand it.

I know what Optitron is. Just it's looks like it, without disappearing at all after engine is off.
So differences between trims are needles. I didn't mention it before. Nice. In this case Toyota could do full Optitron for Limited

No, the design of the guages themselves, particularily the speedo, is different as well.

Yes. Sorry, forgot about it. Thank you for reminding. Limited gauges looks much better.
