Thoughts and Opinions

Hey guys,

So I am looking to replace my front bumper this summer and I wanted some thoughts on possible choices. I have been looking at CBI, ADO, ARB, etc. but I can't decide between plate or tubular... What do you guys think? See the pic below. It's like a 3rd gen advertisement! But mine is the silver with the brush guard which I already pulled off and am selling soon. Also, I'm getting a new lift soon and some all-pro 1.5" wheel spacers.

Thanks for the thoughts

A lot of it comes down to personal preference. What do you plan on using it for the most? Tube is strong and usually a lot lighter than plate. Plate can offer more protection from brush, sticks and such depending on the difference in design. The list goes on and on.

Does your eye lean towards one or the other? 6 to one in my opinion. So many great options on both sides.

Well my cousin got the ARB taco for his 3rg gen and I used to love it when I was a little younger... But lately I have been leaning towards tube. Does anyone know of any possible hybrids?

Lol. A similar thread popped up earlier today. Check out my bumper. It's made by Badland Bumpers. I think it's a good blend of plate and tube.

That thing is pretty awesome, did you do a BL after getting it though? It looks like a pretty decent gap up front between bumper and the quarter panel.

No body lift. It looks like a bigger gap than it is. I just measured it and it's 3/4 of an inch. They might be able to tuck it up more if you want, but I've never had an issue with it. And I'm pretty OCD too.
