I feel the world won't know peace until adults drop the fairy tales of thinking their religion is the one true religion.

But that will never happen bc people who think the after life is better than their current life aren't living but rather waiting to die.

It was disgusting and it's extremely ignorant. Those shooters will burn in hell (earth if you dont believe in hell). People will always ridicule your beliefs, discriminate, talk trash...it's been happening for thousands of years and will continue to happen. Violence will not change HUMAN NATURE. As a somewhat devout Muslim it hurts to see these things. I have too much going on in life to care about what others think of my religion and I really wish more people were like that too. Extremism is dangerous no matter what you believe in.

Simply put, those gunmen are worthless cowards.

Makes me angry.. I don't know how to describe it but I've been to Paris and it's a beautiful city and sometimes you have rude people (they're everywhere) but such a pretty city, mostly friendly people - just makes me mad.. simply put just makes me mad..not sure how to say it..I wonder what I would have done standing on the sidewalk watching that... :embarassed:

They didn't win any points with the French though, that country is going to be more united against terrorism now than it ever was. Probably made things worse for ISIS and other extreme groups..
 
I would love to say whats on my mind but I would get banned. In truth, all we can do is hope it doesnt come to our homeland but that unfortunately is wishful thinking. What we can do is those of us that are pro gun keep pushing for gun rights so that responsible citizens who are CCW holders will be ready to stop a situation like this from happening. Australia, England, France......all anti gun for the most part so unfortunately the citizens are left with nothing to protect themselves. The world is no longer peaceful and safe and until that is truly recognized and accepted, honest people will lack protection and die by the hands of those who are not afraid of death.

It already has come here numerous times. The first attack on the World Trade Center, 9/11, Fort Hood, etc., etc.

The World has never been peaceful and safe.

I agree, those that want to bury their hand in the sand, and think for some delusional reason that those intent on harming or killing others, will just magically decide to obey a Gun Control law, are naive at best.

although he makes a couple good points throughout the whole piece, ben affleck acts like a child who doesnt want to hear what he doesnt agree with.

its more disappointing to see his attitude about refusing to listen to an actual expert speak after watching the other two videos where maher explains how liberal principles are being lost in his eyes. he had an opportunity to set an example and instead chose to plug his ears and say "na na na i can't hear you" whenever someone said something he disagreed with

There's no excuse for terroristic acts, they're despicable. There is an explanation though. We need to get off foreign oil and get out of their countries and let them get back to killing eachother instead of coming after us.
