Thoughts on this hoodscoop?

I came across a fb posting showcasing this 4runner and some other tacomas and tundras. Who makes this hoodscoop and what do you guys think of it?

Well the real question is what do you think of it?

If you ask for opinions you're going to get some ridiculous replies nearly anytime you ask. Did you expect that you would only get serious remarks? You've been around here long enough to know better than that

Oh and yeah that scoop it's kinda fugly, that Prinsu rack though is :thumb:

Not a fan of Hood "scoops" in general, but this one looks like glue-on fingernails from the Dollar Store.

I really wasnt looking for like an approval poll for me to purchase it. Im actually buying a hood from ebay with the scoop built in since its a cleaner look although its still non-functional but simply aesthetically pleasing.

i just wanted to honestly see what you guys thought of it since i have never seen a hoodscoop attached to rubber welcome mat.

I am not as offended as others, the look is okay (the photo #1, 2 & 4 are nice but the 3rd does looks cheap). I never bought my Trail for the hood scoop in fact I'd prefer none but that is me. Part of the reason modifications are completed by us is to individualize our vehicles and clearly this fake scoop customizes the look. To each their own.

I didn't like my OEM scoop and seriously thought about trading it for a flat hood until I painted the tip and thought, meh ... Ok.

I personally like the factory scoop. The point I was making is dogging on an aftermarket scoop because it's not functional is, well, pointless. It's no different from the factory scoop, just for looks, nothing more. Well other than blinding you on sunny days lol

The OEM scoop is just as laughable since it does absolutely nothing. While I like the fact that it adds a little something, once you realize it’s not functional it becomes an absolute joke.
