Three Jeeps Rescue a Semi in Portland on I-84

Just saw this on one of the FB groups I'm a member of. You guys will get a kick out of it.

Aargh! Or one 4Runner... This is right down the road from me. I-84 always get's hit hard whenever we have any snow. It's the E/W route that runs along the Columbia River mostly east of the cascades. The wind HOWLS through there. Horrific driving conditions.

I don't drive the Gorge in winter, I'd rather drive Drinkwater and Santiam Passes than deal with the ice in the Gorge.

Saw that too. Man the forces on that third jeep must be awful. Probably flexing things that weren't meant to be flexed.

I wish someone took a video... but I just tugged a semi loose on my buddy's street.

The tractor (no trailer) got himself dug in about 4~5inches in some icy road near my buddy's house. Was driving by and offered to yank him out (or at least try), threw the ARB Snatch Strap and threw the V8 in 4Lo and gave him a good yank while he was pushing forward.

Surprisingly I actually bumped him out! :O That'd make a *****in' Toyota Commercial right there!

Granted, mine wasn't as impressive as the linked video; but hey even 4Runners can rescue semi!

I don't know how you guys live in those conditions. I saw on the news people driving on two lane highways with 8 ft tall walls of snow on the sides of them. That would freak me out.
