Three Year Plan, Moving. Help with Pros & Cons Please.

Something else I could do is just buy a piece of land (thinking several acres) and have built what I want. What I'm seeing is to see the luxury I like comes with square footage that I don't need.

I'm a simple person so I don't need a $350,000 4 Bedroom, 4 Bath House, but I do like quality.

Looking at Wickenburg homes were priced pretty high for what was being offered, but land was $35K-ish for several acres. Depending on contractors, but a metal prefab shop install is $40 -50K I'm taking a wild stab in the dark. Have it designed as a three car, apartment on top. Double door balcony in the front so I would rent a Zoom Boom to move my house gear in. Then I have time to build my house if I wanted one or if I ever get a GF.

That's my idea mostly. buy land, build a garage for the babies and put my trailer on it.
Or build a strawbale or adobe hogan or smallish house. I'm a big fan of strawbale building and bermed houses.
OHHHH - get a used airplane from the graveyard and make it a house. You're welcome for that idea!
could also use quonset huts as garages.
