Throttle Position Sensor Question

My ScanGauge use to report my TPS at 99% with the accelerator pedal floored. Lately it's been reporting 82%. I've verified that the throttle plate is wide open. Is this a non-issue or would I be losing some HP since the ECU doesn't see the Throttle wide open?

Does it give you voltage readings? Also does your ScanGauge allow for recalibration?

No voltage readings are given. My ScanGaugeII isn't that smart. I believe it just reports on what the ECU thinks the percentage of open is based on the interpretation of the voltage from the TPS. I wouldn't have thought anything of it except that what it's reporting now has changed at some point. Maybe that's just part of the ECU learning process?

Anyone who has a scangauge can you report what your TPS reading is at open throttle?
