I need to go through my hard drives but found this old photo of my first gen Runner...boy do I miss it sometimes. I put a lot work and time and of course money to make it awesome and it was in CRAWL magazine a few times. Fun times!

i like that black accent hood with the white 4runner

do i spot a SAS in the front? ^_^

Thanks. It was actually done due to the painting peeling, lol. But I dug the look and left it.

Yes, it was an '86 and I used a D44 out of a GM truck and cut it down and turned the inner C's. I wanted more width than the Toyota axles offered. It also ended up with ARB's front and rear, dual t-cases with 4.7 gears in the rear case.

Sadly, a lot more capable than your '16 -- 30 years later, lol!

Out off all of mine...wish I'd kept my 80 series cruiser.

The prices never really have come down on them enough to buy another and they are getting so long in the tooth...

I'm actually considering buying a Merc G wagon from Mastadon for a "fun toy". I've always liked those! A little diesel just sends thrills up my spine.

It's either that or I've considered getting a fun car, but man, my love of off-road is just too loud of a call!:bravo:

Just like this!
