Ticking engine

When i put load on the engine it has a fairly loud tick to it, a rapid one. When it is idling it doesnt tick though. Is this normal for 22RE engines? iv heard other toyotas form the same time do the same thing

prob a little bit of lifter noise at high rpm my v6 does the same thing under a load :dammit:

Mine does it too from time to time. I was told it was the fuel pressure regulator and that lots of them do it and no one knows why. Google it to see what it looks like and when the engine is running put your finger on it and you should be able to "feel" the tick.
