tie rod end removal

Hey all I have 1 94 4wd 4runner.
Got the tie rod off the truck. cant seem to get the tie rod ends off the rod.
tried vice grips, pipe wrench, etc.
Any suggestions?

If you have a vise, Id clamp it down and use a pipe wrench on the ends.

Ended up trying to use 2 pairs of vise grips. and it still did not work. Took the whole assembly to the tire shop down the street and they got it apart for me with no charge!
