I agree that what goes on behind closed doors, should stay there, ....., unfortunately that does not always apply to celebrities, since we have a tendency to place them on a pedastal, and in so doing, we expect more out of them, even when it comes to what he allegedly did.

I heard that the PGA is actually going to have a tournament next spring in honor of him just so show that they are over it and were able to set it all aside, ......, it will be called "The Breeders Cup".

He plays golf, what is the big deal? I have never spent a dime because of him or cared about what he does. Why would I want all of the crap on the TV about him? Does this have anything to do with his ability to hit a little white ball?

The Governor of SC cheated on his wife on the state's dime and it has not cost him anything. Bill Clinton cheated on his wife and it made him famous.

The reality of the matter is, it is a diversion of the media away from the Health Care Bill that is about to get passed that is going to ruin the nation. Bait and Switch.

:lmao:

IT'S A CONSPIRACY!!

In all seriousness, please tell me you're kidding.

Seriously, what low percentage of the US population would ever care if a half black golf player cheated on his white wife with another white women or a dozen white women? What does this have to do with anything that would affect human history as we know it.

There are other things more important going on than this. Congress is about to slip thru a health care fiasco that will affect us for a long time and the media is watching a has been loser golfer that will never amount to much, or half as much after his wifey gets thru. Who cares. He is a celeb, a flash in the pan.

"The media" answers to stockholders and corporate boards, not some higher power. It's not their responsibility to inform people, their responsibility is to get people to watch so their sponsors will continue to sponsor. If people are interested in Tiger Woods and want to hear about him, then the media will cover it. The story is right now on the top of cnn.com, foxnews.com, google news, and the drudge report. It's not a conspiracy or a bait and switch perpetrated by the media. The media exists to get people to watch, and if people will watch it, they'll report it.

I am not sure this is a conspiracy, but it definitely is taking some media attention away from a dangerous healthcare bill that could be passed. Looking at Tiger Woods, he seemed like a pretty honest and clean guy. On the other hand, so did David Letterman!!

The moral of this story: who ever said golfers are boring people?

I agree that this is a bunch of overblown gossip fit for the "E!" channel or 'Entertainment Tonight'. There is a lot of other stuff going on in the world that is of much greater significance. This whole imbroglio is just a diversion (though probably unintentional) from the day-to-day BS with which we must all contend.
:ybrick:

That being said, what Tiger did was wrong and he will pay (loss of prestige, some money and future endorsement deals). It reminds me of what it would be like to have a new Lamborghini in the driveway, but getting caught test-driving a rented Hyundai Accent or Ford Focus four or five times.
:hatsoff:

Now, back to reality............

I think more like TMZ.

I could careless about the celebrity news/gossip/scandals. Hell, for all I know my neighbor could be very well involved in love triangle... thank God, there's not a swarm of papparazzies outside of my house. Sadly, it's the price to pay for fame.

Spying on your neighbor? :pimp: Is it the guy or the woman?

Nah, I'm just saying the media tends to blow sex scandals way out of proportion and try to hold these human beings on a higher pedestal. Yet if my neighbor was in a love triangle, no one will care.
