tightening the gas line near the dr side spark plugs?

I'm a little confused by your question.....is it the fuel pressure regulator bolts that you are talking about (vacuum line going to it) or the main union bolt?
So what is it.......and what are you trying to do with it? Got a picture?

it was the metal male piece that connects to the female larger nut and rubber hose. i got it fixed. it was not disconnected but loose because the male end slides up and down the metal piece. make sense? anyway, thanks for the reply.
