Are u talking about the bumper foglights?..if so...they are dimmer just a little...well...of course they are yelllow.... my stock foglight bulbs are white and I still have them...I just like the yellow ones better.I even wanted to get yellow driving lights...but didn't want to risk getting a ticket...:bravo: :bigok: Niiiiice! Zeons for sure!!! and what size rim??? can u telll us??? haha
OK I got my OEM switch installed the other day and came to realized that the guy that did the installation previously drilled the holes on the dash for the switch that came with the aux lights even though I told him not to do it because I was gonna get the OEM soon and was going back to swap switches. I got it installed and now I got those damn holes on my dash....does anyone know what can I do to fix this?.
BTW here are some pics
Thanks to JAC for posting his SteelCraft bull bar photos. Helped me a lot because the SteelCraft instructions are the lamest I've seen in a long time. But I ran into an issue. The bar doesn't fit my 2007 V8. My guess is the pre-drilled holes on the frame for the upper brackets are about 1.5 inches further back than on JAC's '04. I'm having to fabricate a link. I'll post photos when I'm done.
Even though I selected the SteelCraft model for an '07 V8, I noticed the instructions say it is for '05 and '06 4Runners.
Hey sorry to hear that it does not fit properly.can you post pics of the pre-drilled holes ? .
Good thing the pics I posted helped you out. .....and I know...those instructions Suck !....Big Time!...Thats the main reason I posted the pics...so anyone that buy it had a reference on how it goes.
Looking forward to see some pics...hope you get everything together soon.
BTW...did you get the Black or SS??...
@ JAC did you do the grille insert by yourself? tell me how you did it.
the actual grill
well sorry to have made you relive it all over again but it looks great!Ok..here we go again....LOL
It is a Grill insert I bought from ebay I believe for about $45 I just wanted to try something different and just bought some semi gloss black spray paint for plastic and painted..Of course I removed it first and then put it back. I did the same with the mesh grill. I didn't want to mess with the stock grill. This way If I get tired of it or If I want a little change I jus t remove it and stay with the stock color match grill.

Make sure you take pics of the inside where the upper brackets mounts. I wanna see that.
Besides the little inconvinience you have with it....do u like it?....
Hurry up and post some pics...I want to see her. Are you getting aux lights?
Hey you are right....but let me tell you my nice friend that my name is JULIE!!!. lol..
So... are you going to install your lighst this weekend?....I hope u do ... and dont forget to post some pics.
Look ...this is kind off how I want it...but I really think I am gonna go with the all black bull bar and of course my driving lights are bigger than those and they have black housing I believe they are 7" W x 4.5 H
Hey JAC, where did you get the pic of that 4runner (the silver one from that post)? I'm thinking about mounting lights like that (round) when I get my steelcraft and I want to see any other pics of how that looks and try to figure out what lights they are. Also, are the mounts for lights placed so the liscence plate can still be seen with the steelcraft? We need to have a front plate in Ontario.
Thanks!
I got the pic from an old thread here. I was about to get those same lights (they are halos) but thought about it (it was going to be too much LEd an stuff)....so decided to go with regular ones . I cant recall the brand but I think they were about $80- 90 a pair.
If the lights are normal size you shouldnt have any problems seeing the front plate..+ the skid plate is removable so you can always take it off and place the plates lower on the bumper if you preffer. I dont know if they sell an adaptor for the plates for this steelcraft bullbar to place them on top of the skid nor if they have any universal adaptor out there...But as long as the lights are a decent size should be allright.
