Time for a replacement bumper

Second front bumper has rusted through and this time I want to do something other than the original chrome. Looking for a replacement that I can possibly install a winch. With 265k miles I'm not looking to invest a ton of money and all I do is tool around back roads and two tracks in northern MI. What are your recommendations?

Thanks.

If you plan on installing a winch you definitely need a strong bumper that mounts securely to your frame. (BTW- Don't let mileage drive your decisions. You should have another 265K or more left on your rig.) I'm pretty sure you can get a "no-frills" (no shackles, no hoops) after market bumper from Savage Off Road, ARB, CBI, Shrockworks or other reputable company for under a $1000. Might be wrong there.

There's a company out here in Portland/SW Washington that advertises on CL all the time for a weld together kit for under $400. Here's their link. 03-09 Toyota 4Runner weld together winch bumper kit.

Don't worry about the year, they offer bumpers for all years.
