Time for new wipers

I live in Southern California where it hardly ever rains so I usually just buy whatever's on sale. Thought I'd ask around what your guys's favorite brand is. Maybe someone (who lives where it actually rains) will have more insight as to what works well.

i am assuming it dosnt freeze where your at.

so your regular/ basic wiper blades will be fine. i dont have a comment for those types.

but im constantly in rain weather (Missouri) and snow weather (Idaho) and i will only put contour wiper blades on. because there are no moving points to freeze and no contact the glass.

these types of blades wont benefit you as much as they do me because it dosnt rain much where you live. but if you do get these, you will be amazed every time you need to clear rain off to see.

i dont have much of a recommendation for any specific type of blade. but contours are about $15 a piece. they last for about 6 months. every time i fill up with fuel i take the windshield brush they have at gas stations and pull up my wipers and clean them off. makes them last longer.

I live in Lake Havasu City AZ where is is very hot in the summer and seldom rains anytime. I use OEM refills. Cheap and last a long time for me. I seldom drive in the rain and only use the wipers to clean (smear) bugs on the windsheild with the winsdshield washer.

i like rainx blade, the ones that contour and no brackets, it was on sale at walmart, other wise go to costco and get the michellen.

I agree with the contour style of wipers...they are by far the best. Rain-X are pretty good...just stay a way from the Bocsh line. I bought a set and only lasted 2-3 months. Because they are such a big "name brand", I though maybe a got a bad set. Purchased another set...same results!

Don't waste your money on high dollar/ Name brand wipers. Just get some auto zone cheapo wipers and replace them once a year.

Best wipers of all time lol IMO are the goodyear ones from costco, $7.99 ea. AWESOME wiper blades. I've tried the nice rain-x ones and one other brand I can't remember but they didn't hold a candle to the goodyears.

I used to get those triple edge ones and they worked great in the rain and snow and lasted a long time...can't find them anywhere now though.

I use the cheapest ones on the store. I just got a new truck, well new to me and the guys said yeah, I just put new set of wiper blades on it today. A set of try rain x what ever they are high dollar blades . Well guess what they in the trash because the did not clean the window very good. I got me some cheap one on it now.i think they was 6.99 each.
