Timing belt job

I'm getting ready to replace my timing belt and I'm looking for advice. I have 217k and no history of when if or if it's ever been replaced. Any kit better than others? I'm looking at dayco, gates and aisin. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Gates is good. Famous around here is the kit from AirCabinMan on eBay.

Here's Aircabinman's timing belt kit. That's the one I would get if I had to buy one now. The couple times I had to message him he's been very quick and helpful with his responses.

I've got said kit right in front of me waiting to be installed next week. Quality parts for cheap; definitely recommended (only extra part I had to order was a crankshaft damper bolt; part # 90119-16006). The 15-piece kit shipped to my door was $280.xx.

That YouTube video is probably the best around for the timing belt job on our v6 engines but it could still be so much better. [MENTION=102606]infamousRNR[/MENTION] and I will be doing this sometime in the near future. Can't wait to make a video of it.

Since everyone is recommending tools, this might come in handy while changing the timing belt. You never know when you might get thirsty or need to clip-clamp something...
