timing?

just woundering what others run for timing. mines a 22re with stock gears and tires. rv cam and only run 91 gas and is a DD. i can tell its off and that me tps needs ajusted but just seein what has worked for others. thanks

Your going to need to get your TPS and idle speed adjusted to spec before you can truly time it. Once all of that is squared away you can set it at 8 btdc and see if it gives you any better performance increase. Pay close attention to it to make sure you aren't "pinging" with your advanced setting, if so re**** it slightly until you are safe. You should be able to make it at 8 with your 91 octane, but always err on the side of caution.
