Tint pics!

Getting the truck retinited tomorrow. Found out as im peeling it off the front windows are the only ones tinted [emoji16] that makes my job a whole lot easier.

Factory tint looks good! I was very surprised all this time I had no idea. Which brings me to,

What tint are you guys running? Pics? I'm thinking about going 35% front windshield, 20% front windows, 15% all around

i think mine is 35% all around (except windshield). i have the "eyebrow" on the windshield though. besides the front doors, u cant see inside..and even the fronts you kinda gotta look hard to see from outside

I'm getting my sport tinted in two weeks...

My plans:

-50% windshield
-20% over 35% front windows
-3% rear windows

or

-50% windshield
-3% limo front and rear if i'm feeling risky

Here's a picture of my 2nd 4Runner '04 SR5 with the first set of tint I listed above

Compare the 2nd set of tint to my old '99 4Runner

i feel like va cops are okay with 20% over 35% because they can somewhat see you compared to 3% tint that would prevent them from seeing you anytime or at least your body. i haven't been pulled over for the 20%/35% tint combo in almost 6 years though compared to 3% where i had an unlucky streak of getting 2 tickets within 6 months

I had my front doors done to match the rear windows. Windshield untinted. The color isn't an exact match but I don't notice it unless I'm looking for it on a sunny day.

15% all around.

I'm doing 15 all around, and decided to do 40 on the winshield because of how dark he illusion will make it look

My front windshield is 80% air blue tint. The other tint is formula 1 ceramic. I like it. At first I was all scared I'd get a ticket but now I'm very used to it and comfortable. You'll be happy I think.

If you have a sunroof, closing the interior cover has a pretty dramatic effect on the darkness too.

Got 20% to match rear windows. Like some others have mentioned, there is a slight difference. I just have to get over my OCD.

Very nice - have you considered painting the silver grill? I have a 2nd '04 4Runner and I really despised the silver grill. i painted IT satin black but rock chips can be brutal at times. I should have gotten it professionally painted but that's okay, I still like the look of it


P.S. nice badging - did you paint them yourself?

Sort of reviving an old thread, but do any members have more tint pics with the percentages they decided to go with? It's that time for me now and I'm considering the following:

Front - 20%
Rear - 50% or 35%
Windshield - 80%

Does anyone have a similar setup?
