not all CA state PDs may enforce the laws the same, some will accept 70% , others will say none. CHP & DMV seem to not like any. Its your rig, you can make it how you want. But you put big rims and dark tint and junk on it you are going to be treated as a drugdealer/gangbanger.
Just like if i chopped the roof off my 4runner, beat it to hell, and sprayed it camo i would be treated like a redneck/hick.

I wasnt criticizing your rig, but just stating the fact that you will be treated different because it looks like that.
