Tire Chip, should I be worried?

I just noticed this a couple minutes ago. This tire was purchased January 6th, 2012. And I've taken it off roading twice since then and now it has a small chunk in it.
Should I
A) ignore it
B) go to Firestone and play dumb.
C) buy one new tire
D) sell all 4 and upgrade

Looks like nothing since it exposed only rubber.

Odd looking chunk, though. That corner could end up being torn away in the future.

Considering the unusual look of the chunk, you might find someone at Firestone that agrees, if you care enough to pursue it.

Ya I thought the same. I'd have to take a brush to the other tires and clean them so it looks like I haven't taken it off road recently.

That just means you're doing it right.

I ripped a huge chunk off on the first day I had my new BFG's.

In fact, that's usually my way to tell whether or not someone really wheels their truck.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that tire. That little chunk out will cause no problems for the life of the tire. I have dozens of chunks like that or bigger from wheeling/rock crawling.

I wouldn't think twice. It is fine.

Remember that only the belts are the structure and the rubber is there to protect them. Even the scars that people get on sidewalls are fine unless you see frayed belts.

So Firestone has a problem with you taking and off road tire off road? If that's true and you knew it when you bought them, then why didn't you turn and run right then?

BTW... That is not a "huge" chunk.
