We were considering selling the truck because it was so loud and rode so poorly on the highway. It turned out to be the tires.
We have about 30k miles on the Michelins and they are just starting to show a little wear. I rotate them F<->R at every oil change, every 5k miles. They are expensive, but quiet and ride great. Excellent in the rain and not bad in the snow either.

I almost pulled the trigger on the Yokos but I found a steal of a deal that I couldn't pass up on some Cooper Discoverer ATR. I now have about 5,000 miles on them and they are showing no signs of wear. The Coopers are tremendously better in the rain! They drive, surprisingly, very similar to the Bridgestones but they are a bit louder from about 20 mph up to about 55 mph. Above that there is enough wind noise that you can't tell the difference.

x3 on the Cross Terrains. I've off roaded several times on mine with a local Jeep club and done very well. They now have 50K on them and are probably good for at least another 20K. I do a five tire rotation every 5K or so.simple said:x2 on Cross Terrains. They are excellent!
