Though you may be right about searching, being a d!ck about it is no way to prove your point. Since online forums are a collection of data for others to find answers in the future it may have been more helpful if you were to link to one of the multiple threads you reference.
All that aside, I'm happy to share some insight with the OP based on personal experience
Yokohama Geolander AT-S: 50,000mi tire. Good on/off road. Not a lot of road noise from them
General Grabber AT2: 60,000mi tire. Good on road, great off road but tons of road noise at highway speeds
Firestone Destination A/T: Appears to be a great tire, highly rated and still a 50,000mi tire. The first 2 I've had on my vehicles and they have been relatively cheap. I'm strongly leaning towards the Firestone AT when I need new tires
BF Goodrich AT KO: This seems to be the most popular off-road tire on the market for 4Runners, Jeeps, everyone. I can tell you that BF Goodrich is really proud of this tire because they charge an arm and a leg for them.
Nitto Terra Grapplers & Goodyear Duratracs seem to be the standard that is finally starting to take some of the market share away from BF Goodrich. The Nittos aren't terribly priced, but every time I look at prices on the Duratracs they seem to be unreasonably priced for what I need them for.
The Hancook Dynapro AT is also a good tire. I wouldn't have mentioned this one but it is relatively cheap and has performed pretty well on my work truck (2011 F-150)

Now seems like a good time to mention there's a big difference between P and LT because http://www.toyota-4runner.org/general-discussions/110299-lt-tires-need-more-air-pressure.html.
The vast majority of 4Runner applications are better served by P-metric. Most tires come in both but BFG and Duratrac are LT only.
As for Tire Rack, it hides this distinction by omitting the P and LT prefixes in the tire sizes. There you have to note whether there is information in the UTQG column. P-metric has it, LT does not.

I refuse to buy firestones because that's what's on there now and they are bald an the truck only has 64,000 miles on it.
I had Yoko Geolanders HTS on my 98 and I found them to be fairly good tires but rather expensive at the time.
Never had experience with Hankook, Cooper, nittos, or the other listed so I've got my research cut out for me!

Ark Swamp Rider was the biggest cheerleader on the Hankook Dynapro ATm's but he started to complain about ride noise, then couldn't handle the noise and bought some DuraTracs. I'm glad I did not pull the trigger on the Dynapros.
As I've said before I've owned 3 sets of Bridgestone Dueler ATs (on my Jeep GC) and now Rocky Mountain ATS and so far the Falkens are the best AT tire I've owned but the Falkens are a newer breed of tire.

Yes, my nautical blue has turned into nautical yellow. But other than the crazy pollen there is nothing new here. Same old.
But my tires were cheap and i got a 75 dollar rebate this summer when i got them. I recommend them! PM me if you ever want to meet up!

I've been very pleased with my new duratracs in the 3 days since I've put them on. Quiet onroad even at 90. Balanced with very little weight. Offroad they are even better. Went on Saturday and they handled mud, slush, and snow with no complaints whatsoever. Can't comment on wear yet.

I agree with Acidmeld. I got the Duratrac's last week in Denver (visiting the family) and they are awesome on the road and off. Was able to go up on the Mtns and do a bit of offroading and I was impressed. Drove back the 1,000 miles back to MN this past weekend and they have very low road noise considering how aggressive they look. I'm very happy with them so far, but as Acidmeld mentioned - not sure how long the tread life is.

Not sure though. Plan on coming back tomorrow then off to Tennessee for a day. My sister sent me a pic of her car and since she doesn't wash is or vacuum it the interior and exterior is completely yellow. Wish I would have kept the pic though.
Atlanta has always been boring. It's the same everyday, traffic, school, work, etc. gets old. I can't wait to get back and have a Natural Yellow 4Runner. NOT.

I have duratracs on my fj, I don't drive a ton of miles with my fj. On my 4runner it was a toss up between the terra grappler Yokohama and the general grabber at2. I went with the Yokohama geolander at due to price and how many miles my 4runner sees on the road. If the terra grapplers and the AT2 were cheaper I would have gone with them.

Only had the Yoko's I meant.
Check out treadwright. They are retreaded but alot guys are swearing by them now. Plus for a set of 4 33's its like 600 bucks, so the price is AWESOME.
I've never run them personally, but i've heard good things from people who have.
BTW: Me and my friend were planning to go up to north georgia for like a week long camping/fishing/wheeling trip. Any good spots of up there you know of? We live in central florida.

Yep. They are used Firestone Wilderness LE. 4 mounted and balanced for 168. They are just to get me thru. Ill post a pic of the old ones in a little.
