Tire issues

Okay so I went to go look where my front tire was rubbing and the space between the front fender and the tire on the drivers side is REALLY SMALL compared to the passenger side.

It looks like the bumper is out of whack too, that's where its rubbing, and apparently that's why. :cry2:

Can I hammer away at something to make that go away?

That is what my looks like too! :crybaby: I am going to pull my bumper out though.

Does anyone have a diagram of the front bumper?

You should be able to adjust the bumper, just loosen all the bolts holding it on, and pull it out a little and adjust as needed. Then re-tighten in the new position.

i have that same problem too! my pass side tire rubbed on the fender flare there and i just cut the inside of it and now no rubbing :bravo:

Think Id rather go the adjust it route rather than cutting cause obviously its messed up. It will bother me forever until I do it. I have a replacement headlight coming, so Ill have the grill off as it is already I'll just do it then.

Never taken a front bumper off though - are the bolts that need to be loosened obvious, or are there some hidden? What are the chances going to be that there is some sort of bent support bracket that should be replaced? I hate to get in there and not be prepared :/

It looks like it was in a little fender bender. I would say that you can probably just straighten the bracket out if it's bent a little, maybe even put a floor jack and a wood block under the bracket and push the bumper back up in place with the jack and the weight of the truck.

For sure it was, Brian - the fog lens is cracked and the drivers headlight brackets are busted, and the trim underneath the headlight it is not seated correctly.
