You won't be disappointed! They are relatively queit on the street and I had put 10k miles on my last set right before I sold them, and they still had the wear indicating tread marks on them... And I feel they are priced reasonably for the type of tire they are. Wet weather tracition is good, maybe an 8 out of 10... I love them and will by another set when these wear out!

What kind of backspacing do you have to run that size and how much overall lift?

Well mainly the 315 since you run basically a 35x12.50, it so wide. No rubbing issues on the UCA?

Right now my wheels have a 4" backspace and I'm running 1.25" spacers... I have plenty of room, and may drop down to a 3/4" spacer... I like the wide stance though... And I have a 2" body lift also... Lots of fender trimming and massaging of the pinch weld to fit them w/o issues... No issues with the UCA though

I see I was thinking about trying to squeeze a 295/75R16 on with my 3" toytec and a 1" BL. Not sure yet.

I voted for BFG A/T, because they are slightly better off road than the Dueller Revos.
I have run two sets of Revos on two different trucks. The wear is impressive to say the least. I sold them to a friend at 63k and they still had over half tread left. I would not be surprised if he gets another 40k out of them... yes, they wear that good. I have also run them down to 12psi at the OHV park multiple times. Never lost a sidewall, never had any problems... except traction. They just don't stick very well, unless you are in snow, ice, or wet raods. Best nasty weather tire I have ever had, just not very sticky off road. If you have ever run a mud terrain, you will not like the Revos. However, if you never get muddy. you will love them.

One tire that wasn't mentioned but may be worth a look is the General Grabber AT2's. They actually out rate the BFG AT's all around; wider contact patch, better sipping, extreme snow and mud rated, studdable, pretty quite on the highway, and they seem to last forever. As far as "competition proven" like someone mentioned about BFG's look at what most of the Baja guys are running. It begins with a G and rymes with mineral. Did I mention they are a good bit cheaper too.
That said if your going for 33's or bigger I would go with an MT.

I was actually planning on getting BFG AT's when my current tires wear out, but it does seem like most people who have commented don't like them. What concerns me is the hydroplaning, as it rains a lot where I live.
Hmmm the Duratracs seem like a really sweet tire..maybe I should consider them instead.

The only real knock I have on the BFGs is their wet weather manners and their price for what they do.
Compared to my previous set of Nitto TGs and my Duratracs the BFGs don't have much of a margin of error when they start to hydroplane and with little warning;my Nittos and Goodyears have a better feel in ther wet and better recovery when they do lose their grip.
BFGs are a very good tire off road but on a DD there's better options.

Although it's a rarity here in Southern California, my BFG AT's have performed better than the other tires I've had in rain. I've had Hankook Dynamic, BFG Rugged Trail, and Goodyear Wrangler RT/S, and obviously the AT's are better both off road and on road.
Hydroplaning actually improved for me drastically. Being a teenager, I used to do stupid stuff to purposely kick the ass out, etc, and with these tires, I actually find myself unable to do such (not only due to grip, but that I don't want to make them die faster), sometimes even in rain, and whenever I do encounter a problem in which I might hydroplane, it's very easy to correct. Maybe it's since I was used to such poor tires before.
In December, during all the rain, I had my Wrangler RT/S's and I couldn't stop having traction issues. They also were to the point where every little thing gave me a flat. I had three total flats in two weeks, so I decided to get nicer tires. I chose the BFG AT's because I got them (4) for only $160 each (265/70/17) from Grand Prix Performance in Newport Beach (mainly a street tire place, in fact they had to order them since they usually do high end cars, not trucks). For the price, I could not be more pleased, especially as I was quoted $200 per DuraTrac of the same size.
I have run 7k miles on them so far, and they've done me well. They look awesome as hell, too! You can barely tell they've got miles on them, the tread's still very, very deep.
