Tire question

I know there have been a lot of threads about this. I have a 2004 SE 4Runner. It does not snow in my area (central Texas), and I do not go off roading. What would be the best highway tires to get. I would want one that performs well in wet weather.

Your search would have come up with my answer. I'm biased because of positive past experience with Michelin so get the Cross Terrain.

If your willing to drop 160 a tire than i would personally go with the Goodyear Fortera TripleTred. All around solid tire, it has the chutes for when its raining to keep you contacted to the road and expel the water from the tread. As well as a high performing dry tire, great for manuverability for those difficult situations. If your looking to spend less, about 110 a tire, but have performance near the same as the Goodys, then the Yokohama Geo's are a good choice as well. Heres a write up on the Goody's:
