Tire question?

Replacing tires soon, planning on 265/75/16 off roads, any suggestions about off road tires that are really good in snow?

I've got a year on my GY Duratracs and couldn't be happier with them,solid on and off road and were good in the snow.

WOW with pictures, no less, living here in Reno, watching it rain, I'm getting excited about winter. Tire's look awesome, your rigged lifted? If not any rubbing?

Nope ,it's not lifted but does have the taller '99 coils and no rubbing at all.

I really hadn't considered those tires due to the price but they sure look aggro and your comments are making me rethink

No, it's not. It sits pretty high though.

They are 265/70/17.

I am trying the Michelin Off road tires. Good so far. I haven't tried them in the snow yet?

i just dropped the 1K on duratracs on saturday, one of the few tires that has such an aggressive tread and the Severe Snow Conditions Symbol, i have been very happy with them for the 2 days i've been driving them around, been trying to break them loose here in the rain over the weekend and all i get is tire squeal , i'm really liking them so far, mine are in the 285 tire size so are a bit more expensive. i am lifted as well, would also like to mention the are very quite as well no louder then my geolanders i had on before.

link to goodyears website, read various reviews while you decide on tire rack and the other tire websites, just keep in mind that when people are talking about side wall flex on this tire most likely they are driving a big heavy diesel f-350 or the like pick up truck, you don't get any of that on our lighter 4runners. at least i know i'm not on my rig.
