tire question

I just bought off of local Craigslist a set of 5 american racing rims and tires. I was wondering on my stock 94 4runner 5spd v6 if i need spacers. the rims are 15x8 and the tires on them are 31x10.5x15. I know this is stock tire size for these trucks but i am wondering if the wider rim will make a difference if i dont have spacers. THanks guys

So...you have the tires and the truck, and your asking us if they will fit? Just go put them on. They should fit fine.

yes i already have the truck i just was wondering if they are going to rub at all with an inch wider rim? i am at work right now so i cant put them on was going to do it this weekend just wondering ahead of time if i need spacers.

No spacers, they will fit fine.

awesome thanks. do you happen to know the biggest and widest type of tire you can have on stock 94 without trimming or rubbing?

31s are the biggest w/o any rubbing.

I had 33 x 12.50s on my 92 and only had to hammer down the pinch weld.

what size and brand are the rims you are running in those pics? and what kind of tire and size? also whats a pinch weld havent understood that yet.

In the above pic, they are American racing Outlaw II 8" rim on a General Grabber MT 33x12.5. They dont make those tires any more, shame they rocked.

I now have the same rims with a some 31x10.5 KM2s on my 87. No rubbing.

the rims i just got today look exactly like those ones in the first pic. im excited cuz they are decent rims and almost brand new tires. I am going to start a build thread this weekend as I have a lot of things going to install this weekend. cb radio,cb antenna, tires, rims, carr light bar and 4 lights($25 on CL), roof rack, tacoma bumper? might need some modding got it free. mine is rusted to ****. hopefully ill have some before and after pics. thanks for letting me know about the tires. eventually i will put the 11.5x32 on these rims but ill wear these tires out first. thanks for your help

your set up is pretty much my exact truck lol. Except i am from the midwest so all used cars up here rust on the fender walls. So jealous of all you california and florida bast(ards) lol
