Tire Size

What size tire can I fit with a 3" lift, also what size wheels should I go with.(I was thinking 20") What is a good brand of wheels?

It will be on the street about 75% of the time, the rest will be ripping it up in the Colorado Rockies.

so why would you get a wheel size that cuts down on your sidewall area if youre going to wheel in the ROCKies...?

If you truly off road then don't go bigger than 17" since you do need some sidewall to bea able to rub on rocks.

35's if you trim the crap out of your truck...

33's w/ 16" wheels, probably w/ slight rubbing.

33's will fit with some rubbing, theyll fit better with a 1" BL which is cheap.

I was told by my local 4x4 shop that I can not do a BL because the 4runner is a Unibody. But from some of the lift kits I have seen I am assuming that you can do it in the front. Is that what you are recomending?

Also when I get the 33" tires on, the speedometer is going to read a 15% difference. How do I go about recaliberating it? Is there kits that I can use or what?

4Runners sit on a real frame and you can tell by looking underneath.

Where in Colorado are you as there's alot of guys who've done a ton to their Runners around here that can give ideas.

tell that 4x4 shop to close down because they are retarded! hahah. it is NOT unibody and you CAN do a BL.
